This new 15” coax model has been developed to create a compact, lightweight and high quality performance option for the ceiling speaker and floor monitor applications. A single neodymium magnet structure drives both the high frequency and low frequency drivers, and delivers a smooth transition across the band.
A new cone geometry contributes to a well behaved bass response in addition to offering the correct acoustical loading for the HF driver. Aluminum demodulation rings mounted inside the magnetic structure significantly reduce the non-linear distortion levels. An extensive research effort has resulted in a dynamic HF throat design which establishes a strong uniformed angular dispersion pattern over the operating range, eliminating many of the beaming effects associated with traditional coax drive units.
The 15CXN76 features a 3” diameter copper (LF driver) and aluminium (HF driver) voice coil and a vented gap design to enhance the cooling of the voice coil.400 W continuous program power capacity
